I had the great privilege of traveling to this beautiful land 2 years in a row. It has been closed the last 2 years due to Covid so my 2020 trip had to be cancelled. This trip requires a 13 mile hike into the Grand Canyon. It’s 12 miles to the village where you pick up your pre-purchased permits then another mile, most of which is through sand, to reach the campground. From there you pick the perfect spot for your group and setup camp. It is a very remote location which requires a helicopter out for emergencies, so it’s best to be as prepared as possible and bring anything you may need (while being mindful of pack weight) while you are there. There is a small shop in town, but prices are higher due to the remote location and cost of getting things in and it’s the same store that the locals rely on. If you want an amazing trip that will likely test your limits, then this is the one for you, once they feel that it is safe to open back up for tourism. For the first year after they reopen it will be difficult to get passes as those purchased in 2020 have been rolling over each year while they’ve been closed so they are technically sold out already for a year once they reopen. Have questions? Drop them below and I will be happy to answer them!

I was headed home from Northern CA to Vegas in August of 2015 and decided to detour through Yosemite National Park. Unfortunately it ended up a less than smart move because I never saw a gas station since it wasn’t my normal route and ended up spending the night on the side of the road out of gas with no cell signal lol I even filled the tank before entering the park! Anyways, while I am still very spontaneous on the road, I definitely make sure I know where the gas stations are lol

I hope you enjoy these photos from my quick 1 day in the park. As a very sensitive empath, I had a very hard time in many areas of the park which made me believe that I have experienced a past life in the area. I’ve done a lot of healing, including past life healing, since then, so I’m hopeful that when I get there again I will have a much more pleasant experience. That is definitely something to consider when you are traveling. If an area causes you to feel a certain way, especially if i’s a dark, negative or fearful feeling, you may have past experiences there that need to be healed. There are many ways to do this healing and if you need suggests, please feel free to contact me! [Read more…] about Yosemite National Park – August 2015
